Bambi and Bosc on Alberto’s black pearls mind.
They say “Bosc”, maybe it means,
not “forest” but, “Bosch;”
they owned all of the land
pieces of it were bought
by wealthy families like mine.
In any event, Bosc Farres was lost
to my grandmother in twenty-nine,
later it went to an orphaned second cousin,
next to a pile of jewelry, paintings,
and twenty-four karat gold,
which do not replace parents, but help.
