My Mother’s Fire

My Mother’s Fire
I dreamt of my mother fighting a ghost of fire.
I saw her dancing to that faint red wind.
I saw her trying to put him out with her fire.
I bathed his feet with water, I thought of blue
But my mother to the fire wind danced
He wove a love song for her and filled the room.
